Updating FTP details

We no longer use Weebly, we have our own FREE hosting and FREE Website Creator, as well as paid plans that can use our FREE Website Creator. This article out of date and is due for deletion.

Weebly require you to update your FTP details so that they can connect to your hosting server and upload the files. If you are using our shared hosting servers (which are one of our Feature Rich Hosting Products) then we will automatically create and insert these details for you and update them on the Weebly servers. If you are using our dedicated servers, or you are hosting your site somewhere else, then you will need to create an FTP account and password and add it through the CritchCorp Computers Store control panel. Even if you are using our shared hosting, you can do this at any time also.

To update the FTP details from the control panel log in to your Store account --> Go to your services --> select the hosting account that has the Weebly account you want to edit --> On the left-hand side under Overview, select Addons --> Then select "Update FTP Credentials".

In the box that pops up add your FTP host name, FTP username, password and the directory (this should usually be the root directory for the domain "/") and then click the "Update FTP Credentials" button.
