How can I setup my FREE Hosting with or without my own domain name

To set up your initial FREE Hosting account, you should "Purchase" it through the store, as with any other product/services.

If you wish to use the FREE subdomain option, you should get in touch first via the form available, here, halfway down the page (Purple Button).

If you want to buy a domain name to use, or you already have a domain name that you want to use, then you can go ahead and purchase the free hosting account from here. Follow the process through and pay zero at the end,

NOTE: You will need to create an account if you don't already have one. You will also need to complete the verification requirements of the account before you can begin using the FREE hosting.

Please note: FREE hosting is NOT anonymous hosting.

Once you have completed the purchase (NOTE: there are upgrade options available as well), you can start to set up your account. If you have received a FREE subdomain, it is likely that it will be ready to go straight away, if you have purchased a new domain or have just transferred your domain name then you may need to wait up to 72 hours for domain DNS propagation. This depends on where the domain is coming from.

If you have just registered a domain, then the DNS should be set correctly already, If you have transferred your domain name to us, then you may need to manually change the DNS servers. Please see your welcome email for the correct servers to use, or contact support from your account.

FREE eMail Setup

To set up your free eMail account. Login to your control panel, which can be done from your account. The on the left-hand side, click "Email Accounts" then "Email Accounts". Click the "Add a New MailBox" button on the right-hand side. Follow it through to create the account. At the bottom of the page is the server details to set up your account on your devices. You can also use webmail which can be accessed from the "Email Accounts", then Roundcube Webmail link in the menu.

FREE SSL Certificate Setup

The FREE SSL Certificate should automatically set up itself, if it has not then please check that your domain name has propagated, and you can access the site with the domain name (Note: It will show a certificate error). Then you can run the auto SSL creator by login in to the control panel, from your account, then clicking on the Domains section on the left, then "AutoSSL Manager (Domainname)", then select the "Install" button. If it is already installed, then you may need to check your DNS settings. Please contact support or refer to your welcome email for the correct settings.

FREE Website Creator

It is recommended that you set up your email account first and if possible your SSL certificate. When these are done, you can then start to set up your new website using the website creator.

To access the website creator, on the left-hand menu, click "Script Installers", then "sitepad".

Click the "create a new site" link and follow the instruction, fill out your details and complete the wizard. You will receive an email with your user detail on it, and you can then continue to modify your site until you are happy and then make it live.
