File Storage & Sharing
You can store files using your email allocation space. This is useful to enable you to send a file to multiple people on email without actually taking up the space on the email. Just provide the link to the download and everyone can have it without the hassle of getting through their email server limits or using up space on their or your email account. The file can then be deleted when it is no longer required.
To upload files to your file store login to webmail then:
- Select Files from the top menu.
- Click the ”Upload Files Here” button and select the file you want to upload.
- Once the file is uploaded, tick the file you want to share and click the ”Share” button.
- You will be given a unique download link to the file, copy this download link and provide it to the person you want to share the file with.
- You can retrieve the download link at any time by clicking the link icon next to the file.
- When the file no longer needs to be shared you can tick the box and click the ”Unshare” button.
- You can also delete the file to save space by ticking the file and then clicking the "Delete" button.
NB:
- You can upload up to 2000 files in up to 100 folders up to a maximum of the free space in your account, through webmail.
- Files will use your email account allocation space - You can upgrade your account allocation space up to 15GB.
- You can only access files from webmail or the links provided.
- Files cannot be saved or copied back to the server from the download link - The link is a download link only, there is no upload link!
