ShareSync Mobile for iOS Devices

ShareSync Mobile For iOS Devices

ShareSync is a cloud service provided by CritchCorp Computers Ltd that allows you to sync files between multiple computers, ShareSync Web portal and mobile devices, as well as securely share them with your co-workers and external collaborators. The following article describes ShareSync mobile client for iOS devices. ShareSync Mobile is supported on iOS 9 & higher.

To download and install the application, search for it in AppStore using the keyword ShareSync.

Note: If you are not able to login to the ShareSync mobile app, make sure AdBlock filtering on your mobile device is disabled or domain serverdata.net is added to whitelist.

After the application is installed, it requires you to login. Type in the email address and password and tap Log In.

From the Main Screen you can:

  • add folders and files
  • remove folders and files
  • switch between backed up folders
  • view Activity feed
  • add files to Favorites
  • view application settings

Tap the + icon and tap Add Folder to add a folder.

 

Files can be:

  • added to Offline;

  • shared in ShareSync by sending a link to a file to a person you would like to share it with. The person can be both internal and external to your organization. You can also protect the link with a password;
  • opened in another application, sent by email or printed.

To delete files or folders, tap the check button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, choose the file or folder and tap Delete.

To view Activity feed, in the bottom menu, tap Activity

Note: Activity feed contains only 1000 last events. All Deleted events are filtered out.

To view the settings menu, tap Settings in the bottom menu. Here you can:

  • change camera upload settings
  • turn passcode on and off
  • send feedback
  • view ShareSync information
  • log out

Once Passcode is turned On and Touch ID is enabled on iOS device it is possible to use Touch ID to access ShareSync.
