Android Generic setup for Cloud Email

How Do I Set Up A Microsoft Exchange/Cloud Email Account On An Android Device?

This article describes how to set up our Exchange/Cloud mailbox on Android Devices.

Necessary requirements

Synchronization of Exchange mailbox data is supported on mobile devices with Android 2.0 OS or later. Before you start to configure a mobile device, you should do the following:

  1. Contact your wireless provider and make sure your plan supports ActiveSync synchronization with Exchange server.
  2. Activate ActiveSync service for the Exchange user. Contact Support if you are not sure if this has been done.
  3. Make sure you can browse the Internet using the device browser.

General information

  • You can find all settings here:  
  • For all Android devices, you may use the following ActiveSync settings depending on the model:

    • Server Name: SEE SMS,
    • Username: SEE SMS;
    • Domain Name: Leave blank,
    • Username: SEE SMS;
    • Domain\Username: Enter the Exchange domain and a Canonical username together in this field, or enter full email address.
      Note: Exchange domain and Canonical username can be found under Users > click on Display Name of the user > Exchange > ActiveSync
